Dillon Bates and Other Vol Legacies Have Excitement Brewing in Knoxville.

Five players from Butch Jones’ highly touted freshman class have family members who also played football for the Volunteers. A sixth freshman — wide receiver Vic Wharton — is the nephew of former Tennessee basketball player Brandon Wharton.  The legacy players are Dillon Bates, son of Vol favorite Bill Bates,  Elliot and Evan Berry, twin defensive back sons of All-American Eric Berry, defensive back Todd Kelly, Jr., and linebacker Neiko Creamer, son of Andre Creamer.  Dillon Bates spoke to UT Sports in a media session that was posted at NCAA.com.
