The Bethel Wildcats captured their third straight win of the season, as they beat then 17th ranked University of the Cumberlands 38-14 Friday night at Wildcat Stadium. Bethel moved to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in the MSC. The Patriots dropped to 1-3 on the season.  The Wildcats are currently unranked in the NAIA coach’s poll, although that may be likely to change soon.

The Wildcats employed a balanced attack on Friday, as they tallied 207 yards rushing and 285 via aerial assault. According to head coach Mike Jasper, his offensive line played well and his defensive unit was flying to the ball. If this continues, the Wildcats may very well find themselves playing for an NAIA national championship.

The Wildcats hit the road again next Friday, as they travel to face the 19th ranked Georgetown Tigers (KY) at 2:30 p.m.
